Family Sites often display the family Coat of Arms which is associated, in some way, to the family surname. Medieval Castles and Knights are displayed also, but the worth of a man is really found in the goodness of his heart and not by what he has. There is little doubt that the greatest among us are never known, or honored. We are called to serve in many ways. Some in high places, others with their heart among the poorest. It is most often by chance that great leaders arise due to a moment and circumstance that could not be predicted. If it were not for that moment they may never have been known. Our character is defined by our service to others and our devotion to God. There is no greater Kingdom for which we can serve, and no greater example we can give to our children. In my book Loyalsock [ or Lawi-Saquick ] Creek, a Pilgrim Journey, I mention all of the families. |

Many of the descendants still live in the area of one of the worst battles, the battle of Wyoming. Many of these families are sill found in the northeastern part of Pennsylvania and the New York Counties that include Broome, Otsego, and others. Our famiy settled in those counties and in Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. |
